# Animatic software that is still a storyboard

CineoBoard is animatic software built on your storyboard: per-frame duration, scratch audio, playback, and MP4 export that still matches the shot list.

Animatic software should not be a second editor. It should be the storyboard with a clock. If you rebuild the sequence in Premiere to watch it, you now have two sequences.

## What CineoBoard plays

- Per-frame duration
- Scratch VO or temp music
- Simple intended camera moves
- The same shot numbers as the PDF and CSV

## Exports

- MP4 for client and editor
- PDF board for crew
- CSV shot list for the AD

All three have to come from one version. The [demo](/demo) plays a sample board; press space after it loads.

## FAQ

### Can I use Premiere or CapCut as animatic software?

You can. You will then retype shot changes in two places. Use an NLE when real footage exists. Use a boarded animatic while the pictures are still stills.

### Does CineoBoard replace an NLE?

No. It replaces the “timeline of stills” stage and the disagreement between that timeline and the board.
