“Pre-production software” is a baggy phrase. Some of it is scheduling and call sheets. Some of it is the pictures everyone argues about before those call sheets exist. CineoBoard is the second kind.

## Why the split is useful

A suite that does eight jobs does each of them halfway. A board that is “a module” is the first thing that drifts. If the artefact your client signs is the pictures, put the pictures in a tool that treats them as the source of truth.

## FAQ

### Is CineoBoard enough for a whole feature’s pre-production?

It is enough for boarding, review and the shot list. You will still want a scheduling tool for the day. Many crews run both.
