Eyeline is where the subject is looking, relative to the camera. If A looks camera-left at B, B must look camera-right at A, on the same side of the 180-degree line. Mismatched eyelines cannot be cut together. The board has to show this before anyone lights.

How to draw it so a crew sees it
- Put a small arrow or a noted “looks camera L / R” in the footer
- Keep the same look across every size of that setup
- When you add an insert, decide whose POV it is
Generators and eyelines
First-pass generators routinely flip looks because they have no geometry. That is a human pass, not a prompt. What AI storyboard generators get wrong.
